ABOUT ME
I was born and attended K-12 schools in Kansas. At 20 years of age I travelled for the first time from the amber waves of grain to the Pacific Ocean for service as a United States Marine.
I attended college at Rancho Santiago Community College in Santa Ana, then received a bachelor's degree in Social Ecology at UC Irvine, a master's degree in Special Education from Cal State, Los Angeles, and a juris doctor from Concord Law School. In December 2021, I earned a second master's degree in Educational Administration from Emporia State University in Kansas.
I've held positions as neighborhood grasscutter and paperboy, the editor and publisher of Linky's Edition, dishwasher, fast food worker and manager, air traffic controller, lifeguard, waiter, Main Street merchandise sales at Disneyland, teacher and attorney. The most important job I ever held was as a brother to my sister and a son to my mother.
After several years back in Kansas and Missouri to be near family, I returned to California in January 2022. I currently live in Tustin, close to friends and a supportive, loving community.
