Before practicing law I taught in both public and private schools for twelve years and earned a Master's Degree in Special Education from Cal State, Los AngelesI  received my Juris Doctor from Concord Law School (America's Premier Online Law School) and passed the California Bar Exam on my first attempt. 

I am admitted to the State Bar of California and to the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California.  Born in Kansas, I came to California in 1984 and served four years in the United States Marine Corps as an air traffic controller.  I earned my Bachelor's Degree from UC Irvine in Social Ecology.  While my office is located in West Hollywood, I travel weekly to meet clients in Orange County and San Diego. 

I have filed numerous bankruptcy cases in the Southern District, which includes San Diego, including a prepackaged chapter 11 case for a small business which was confirmed in less than six months.
