Before practicing law I taught in both public and private schools for twelve years and earned a Master's Degree in Special Education from Cal State, Los Angeles.  I  received my Juris Doctor from Concord Law School (America's Premier Online Law School) and passed the California Bar Exam on my first attempt. 

I am admitted to the State Bar of California and to the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California.  Born in Kansas, I came to California in 1984 and served four years in the United States Marine Corps as an air traffic controller.  I earned my Bachelor's Degree from UC Irvine in Social Ecology.  While my office is located in West Hollywood, I travel weekly to meet clients in Orange County and San Diego. 

I have filed numerous bankruptcy cases in the Southern District, which includes San Diego, including a prepackaged chapter 11 case for a small business which was confirmed in less than six months.
